Most of us have a deep desire to be the best that we can be. This means giving up some old beliefs and changing behaviors that no longer serve us. But as you’ve most likely discovered by now, making a change is hard – just try writing with your non-dominant hand! You may even find yourself going to great extremes to avoid change even though you really want it. 

If you are nodding your head in agreement, you are not alone. It is very common to have developed beliefs about ourselves and our place in the world that are difficult to change even though they keep us from living fulfilling and successful lives. But I believe that no matter where you were planted or what you have experienced, you can become strong and beautiful!
